In fall of 2022 my son Preston and his team had a great season with an amazing coach. As Team Manager I worked aside Coach Steve assisting him and the team during the games. I was instantly hooked on his coaching style. His passion and enthusiasm for the sport is outstanding. He is motivating and encouraging to his team. Coach Steve promotes a fun environment while challenging his team to work hard. “If you put in the hard work now, you will reap the rewards later.”
As the season came to an end and a long winter upon us, we couldn’t imagine not keeping our team and Coach Steve together. We scheduled small group clinics at the Hampshire Dome that winter for our team. Coach had his daughter Bella join in to assist in the training. The improvement our boys had in their skills over a few months was impressive. They had a successful spring soccer season. We had a few clinics over the summer to help the boys keep up on their skills. It was not a surprise that we were undefeated in our 2023 fall season. Our team played in the Hampshire Dome League and for the first session we were 5-1-1. Our team worked hard and won the Championship!
Stephen and I decided to partner and formed S.E.T. FC (Select Elite Training). I partnered with Stephen because I love his passion and intensity for the sport.
